Heartwarming Family Story and Christmas Miracle
Marcel knocked on the white door in front of him, greeted by a girl’s voice behind the door, “you may enter”. The voice sounded cheerful, yet faint. He opened the door slowly, peeking his head inside, “Hi, princess, how are you?” he said to the little girl sitting in her bed.
“Daddy! Come in, come in!” the girl invited him in enthusiastically. “Please, sit down here, and I’ll fetch you some tea!” said the girl again, tapping the bedside next to her.
Marcel followed her instructions obediently. Once he sat on the designated spot prepared for him, the little girl immediately took the small plastic cup and pretended to pour tea from the plastic kettle. “Thank you, my lady!” said Marcel, nodding his head as if making a small courtesy.
As Marcel pretended to drink the tea, the little girl started asking him a question, “Daddy, do you think Santa will visit me this year and give me my present?”
Marcel took a glance behind the plastic cup, then put it down slowly. “Laura,” he said. He put the plastic cup on the bedside and held her daughter’s hands. “Why do you think Santa wouldn’t visit you and give you a present? You are exactly his favorite here,” he…
